what the forum running on these days? is it even PHPboard still? also there isn't 2 terabyte of spam either!!!

Yes, if you look closely at the bottom of every single page, you will see that we're still running phpBB for the forum. The difference you're seeing is from about 15 years worth of updates coming all at once. The whole server has been updated and everything SHOULD be spam-proof, hack-proof, break-proof, bot-proof and idiot-proof now. Says me asking for trouble, I know, but yeah. =P
