superbowl predictions

Completely off-topic conversational diarrhea that the rest of the internet won't let you post anywhere because it's so pointless and irrelevant to anything important.

superbowl predictions

Post by Hero of the Day » Sun Feb 05, 2006 12:50 am

Ok just read the injury reports (nothing of consequence IMO)

Heres the Deal: The Pittsburgh Steelers are going to win
Now this aint gonna be a huge margin like when they whipped denver I dont think. I think we will see one of the best superbowls in a long time; no egotistical superstars, very little long yard passing (which may end up being the key to the Seahawks scoring), and no 50+ yard downfield runs.
In the end the Steelers' brutal in your face offense (shitloads of trick plays) and crushing defense give them the edge.
Confidence comes in a brown bottle.

whatever you can afford to gamble. I dont predict margins of victory just strait up win or lose.

update: some sports columnists and newspapers seem to be fingering the seahawks.

I disagree on the simple fact that the NFC has been kinda week this year, and the Seahawks playoff games were nothing of consequence
(hell Carolina was out of gas when the seahawks got to them, they had no running game)

The Steelers have played tough all season, fought to get to where they are, and want another ring very badly

That just makes it all the more interesting... if you're backing the "underdog", so to speak, it'll be all the more satisying when you're right! =)
